We like Danish values. Therefore most of our products are produced in our own house. We have several advanced cad/cam systems which assure a homogeneous production and compet-itive power. The Danish production gives us big flexibility and shorter response time. All this gives us a great opportunity to provide a good and decent service.

Responsibility

In our 2009 spring collection we have chosen to cooperate with different suppliers that are positively improving environmentally and ethically issues. We have named the range of various products Responsibility.

You can find articles such as a large organic cotton collection and kilim cushions produced from cleansed and restored antique kilims, which have been made with natural plant dyes.

A.U Maison is cooperating with a BSCI certified supplier (Business Social Compliance Initiative). The supplier is committed to maintain and improve the working environment and standards for the employees.

The organic fabric is GOTS certified (Global Organic Textile Standard). The fabric is produced accordingly to the strictest demands within the organic guidelines. The supplier is restricted in the use of pesticides, gen modified seeds, heavy metals, formaldehyde etc. The aim for GOTS demands is to ensure responsibility and consideration from the raw material till the finished product by the consumer.
